Ghost Towns and Near Ghost Towns. This is my work file for potential targets for photography and research. To meet the criteria of "ghost town", the community must have a central business district with mostly abandoned buildings of some historic significance. A true ghost town will have few, if any, residents remaining. A near-ghost town may still support a vibrant community that bears the name of the former town, but the town itself is gone.
