When touring Chicago and its suburbs, don't forget to drive along the lake NORTH and visit suburbs like Winnetka, Lake Forest and Lake Bluff. Beautiful mansions sit along the lake and you can drive right by them. Each town offers a little something different. You can also take the Noryhshore train from Chicago North -- Great Lakes Naval Station is north of Highland Park and the Waukegan, a great place to sail. Keep on the train and go to Milwaukee, too! So much to see...........
